Good use of 3 palette colour scheme throughout the pages, creates a balance on the pages. Make the mast head stick out among the rest of the heading + maybe could do with something more on the contents and double page.
front cover: positive - positioning image negative - doesn't look very professional with small image in the corner
contents: positive - good use of headers for each section and nice conventional colour scheme. negative - font isn't organised in sections properly which gives off an unprofessional look.
double page spread: positive - the use of a pull quote at the top of the article is good. negative - image position isn't in line with the text properly, this can give off n unprofessional look.

ReplyDeletePositive- Having the artists name in red font makes it strong and clear and the font used on the masthead suits the magazines feel.
To make it better- Make it look more professional by changing the guitar image and making the top strapline centralised.
Contents page
Positive- The information on the contents page adds authenticty and credibility to the publication.
To make it better- Make the page numbers a different colour so they stand out, this would make the contents page easier to navigate.
Double page spread
Positive- The article looks professional and clear in collumns.
To make it better- Consider using the space at the end of the article as this is just empty.

Negative - The text is all messy and looks very unorganised.

Positive - Good amount of text used on the double page and laid out in columns to look professional.
Negative - The image looks squashed and there is lots of empty space where the text could continue to make look more professional and real.
